Airsteril Custom Vehicle CVX Range
Working vehicles have to cope with a lot, the same vehicle may be used for a variety of loads creating problems with cross contamination from both odours and microorganisms between different journeys.
Maintaining a clean, odour free and infection-controlled environment is a constant challenge.
Busy schedules and quick turnarounds mean that the time allowed for vehicle cleaning is always tight and deep cleaning requires a vehicle to be off the road for a period of time which is lost revenue.
Odours and infections are created by bacteria, viruses, mould, fungi and volatile organic compounds found in the air and on surfaces.
Traditional cleaning, disinfecting and use of masking agents cannot control the spread of microorganisms.
In 8 hours, a single bacteria cell can multiply to over 8 million, meaning health risks increase and unpleasant odours prevail, giving the impression of poor cleaning standards.
Odour and Infection Control in Vehicles
AIRsteril uses specialist techniques proven target microorganisms.
Odour control is equally important, unpleasant odours can easily transfer to loads being transported.
AIRsteril products have always been supplied with guaranteed odour control across multiple industries.
- Fan operation distributes air throughout vehicle
- Annual lamp change maintains performance
- Robust vandal resistant Aluminium casing
- Horizontal or vertical mounting
- Vibration absorbing mounting plate
- No filters to change
- Guaranteed odour control
- 12 or 24 volt power options available
Coronavirus and Airsteril
AIRsteril units have been shown to kill a wide range of microbes that are more difficult to eradicate than viruses, including bacterial species that produce endospores (Clostridium difficile, Geobacillus stearothermophilus), Grampositive bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus, MRSA, S. epidermidis, Listeria monocytogenes and L. innocua), Gram-negative bacteria (Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa), and moulds (Aspergillus fumigatus) in both the air and/or on surfaces.
SARS-CoV-2 belongs to the same group of viruses that cause colds andinfluenza. The use of AIRsteril units in call centres and offices at an NHS Trust has been shown to reduce the incidence of illness-related absences; particularly reported cases of colds, coughs and influenza, as well as reducing other chest and respiratory problems.
BENEFITS OF USING AIRSTERIL
How Our Systems Work
The advanced technology of the AIRsteril Thermal U/V unit allows the control of bacteria, viruses and moulds both in the air and on surfaces more efficiently than ever before.
All of this is achieved without fans and with very low energy consumption.
The custom designed thermal convection system ensures that the contaminated air processed through the unit achieves optimum dwell time in the purifying chamber.
As the processed air leaves the unit, it then itself becomes an efficient cleaning agent, targeting pathogens both in the air and on surfaces.
Servicing Made Easy
Power must be disconnected before attempting any servicing and only undertaken by a competent individual.
All AIRsteril partners have fully trained engineers to carry out all servicing work.
The hull always remains permanently in place.
Servicing can be carried out at ground level by removal of the internal cartridge.
Lamps must be changed on minimum of annually to maintain performance.
